Dr. Jeff Cullers has dedicated more than 25 years to advancing the massage therapy profession through clinical practice, education, and evidence-informed continuing education. His passion is helping massage therapists build confidence, improve clinical reasoning, and develop practical skills that produce better outcomes for their clients.
Licensed as a Florida Massage Therapist since 1999, Dr. Cullers founded a successful clinical massage practice before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2009. His unique background as both a licensed massage therapist and chiropractic physician allows him to bridge the gap between soft tissue therapy and modern clinical practice.
Dr. Cullers is the only physician in the United States authorized by Dr. Ross Turchaninov and the Science of Massage Institute (SOMI) to teach the complete, science-based Medical Massage curriculum developed by SOMI. He is also the first physician to be certified by the Science of Massage Institute, bringing one of the most comprehensive evidence-informed Medical Massage programs available to massage therapists throughout the United States.
In addition to Medical Massage, Dr. Cullers is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), having completed 270 hours of advanced Manual Lymphatic Drainage education through Klose Training & Consulting under the instruction of Guenter Klose. He is also certified in Electrodiagnostic Testing (EMG/NCV) and is currently pursuing his Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology.
As an educator, Dr. Cullers believes continuing education should provide far more than required CE hours. Every Spartan course is designed to give participants practical skills, clinical confidence, and techniques they can immediately apply in practice. His teaching style combines current research, real-world clinical experience, hands-on application, and engaging instruction to create an educational experience that is both informative and enjoyable.
Dr. Cullers is an Approved Provider through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB Provider #20) and a CE Broker Approved Provider (#50-14961). Through Spartan Continuing Education Seminars, he offers live seminars, webinars, and online home study courses designed to help massage therapists meet their continuing education requirements while advancing their professional knowledge and improving client outcomes.
